Alexandra Popova, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Alexandra Popova is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) licensed in Tennessee and certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at University of Washington in 2013 and her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2018.
Her clinical experience has been rich and diverse. She had the privilege of working with individuals spanning from pediatric to adult populations, addressing conditions such as anxiety, autism, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD, PTSD and many others. She has worked with people from various backgrounds, ethnicities, religion, and sexual orientation. She strongly believes in the power of holistic care, and she is adept at integrating evidence-based treatments.
In every aspect of her professional journey, her goal has remained consistent: to provide compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes mental well-being and empowers individuals to lead fulfilling lives. She is deeply committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and fostering an environment of trust, respect, and collaboration in every clinical encounter.
On her free time, Alex enjoys traveling the world with her fiancé, exploring new foods, learning, and spending time with her 3 dogs.

Yes! We are in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna/Evernorth, Oscar Health, Optum, Oxford, Quest Behavioral Health, and United Health Care.

If we are not contracted with your insurance we do provide a cash rate. Psychiatric evaluations are $250 and follow-ups are $125. We are happy to provide you with a superbill that you are able to submit to insurance.

We require at least a 48 hour notice prior to cancellation so that we can schedule other clients that may need to be seen. Clients may be subjected to a cancellation/no-show fee of $100.

Due to safety concerns and long-term risks, our practice does not prescribe benzodiazepines (e.g., Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan). If you are currently taking one, we can work with you on a safe tapering plan and explore alternative options for managing symptoms in a safer, long-term way.

Stimulant medications are prescribed exclusively for ADHD following a comprehensive evaluation and when medically appropriate. If there are questions, please discuss this with your provider.
